Perk Best Practices
Do's
Start conservative

Keep it simple
- Easy-to-remember percentages (10%, 20%, 30%)
- Clear tier names
- Consistent across locations when possible
Communicate clearly
- Customers should know their perks
- Display on wallet pass
- Train staff to explain benefits
Don'ts
Don't create overlapping rules
- Only one perk rule per location + tier combination
- System prevents conflicts but plan ahead
Don't change perks constantly
- Customers expect consistency
- Frequent changes cause confusion
- Plan changes carefully
Don't discount too deeply
- Monitor profit margins
- Too-generous perks can hurt business
- Balance loyalty with profitability
