Coupons & Push Promotions (formerly Offers)
"Offers" is no longer a standalone feature. It was merged into the unified Coupons entity in 2026-07. This page now explains the two tools that replaced it. (This URL is kept stable so existing links and bookmarks keep working.)
What replaced Offers?
The portal has two related tools for reaching Customers beyond the standard tier perks:
- Coupons — single-use promotions tied to a redemption (e.g., "free drink tonight 9-11pm").
Configured under Create → Coupons. A coupon can be house-issued (
issuerType: HOUSE, formerly "Offers" / "House Coupons") or issued by a Promoter for commission (issuerType: PROMOTER) — both live in the same unified list. - Push Promotions — push messages delivered directly to wallet passes, without a redemption attached. Configured under Create → Push Promotions (formerly "Announcements").
Coupons vs. Push Promotions vs. Perks

Use Perks for: Ongoing benefits tied to card tiers.
Use Coupons for: Special events, slow nights, targeted promotions that need a redemption at the bar or hostess — including anything a Promoter distributes for commission.
Use Push Promotions for: Time-boxed messages to customers' wallet passes that don't need a redemption (announcements, reminders, "come back tonight").
Creating a Coupon
- Click Create → Coupons in the main navigation.
- Click "+ New Coupon".
- Set the title, description, and terms.
- Choose the issuer type (House, or Promoter if distributing for commission).
- Set the validity period and redemption limits (unlimited, once per Customer, or a total cap).
- Choose which locations and card tiers (Sapphire, Gold, Platinum) can use it.
- Preview and publish — a push notification is sent immediately to eligible wallet passes.
Coupons are redeemed the same way the former Offers were: the Customer presents the coupon at the bar or hostess, and Staff validates it by scanning the code or looking it up manually. See Bar Redemption for the redemption workflow.
Creating a Push Promotion
- Click Create → Push Promotions in the main navigation.
- Write the message and choose the audience (all Customers or a segment).
- Set the send time and validity window ("Valid from…").
- Publish — the message is pushed to wallet passes immediately; it is not gated by the "Valid from" date (see the push-mechanics note in Push Notifications).
